This image originated as a failure: the strobe didn’t flash. If I were like my contemporaries, I would’ve deleted the file. Being an old schoola from the ’70s, I keep every file like I kept every negative. A little brightness here, a little contrast there, a pinch of duo tone, and I came up with this. The JPG export created some artifacts on her legs but I kinda like it.
