CHARLOTTE 3577

This is the kind of monochrome I wanted to make in the ‘70s. It was really hard. First you had to choose the right black & white film for that contrasty look. Then you had to develop it correctly (developer; temperature; time; etc.). Then you had to make a hundred prints on graded non-RC paper to get to the print you imagined. That would take hours in a wet darkroom. This took about 10 minutes. God bless digital everything.
