I decided to post this photo in honor her birthday. Although I only worked with her once, Gwen had a big impact on my work. She showed me what was possible. She brought my concepts to life. She also taught me to get on my knees when I’m working. This isn’t some veiled BDSM thing. I was standing the entire time I was photographing her. I discovered later that a lower camera angle makes the body look longer. I titled this Absolution because she has a Joan of Arc look about her because of the hood, and it sounds dramatic. That wasn’t my intent with this concept. I just think models in hoodies are sexy. Forgiveness and Salvation were also in the running for the title.  @samsanchezphoto
