@tmronin recently posted a photo of Apnea. That got me thinking about her. When I first worked with her, she was everywhere in the gothic/fetish world (she was the gothic/fetish world from my point of view). This goddess allowed this mortal to make photos of her greatness (in other words, she agreed to work with this fanboy). I was over the moon. We would work together two more times and I would get to know her a little more each time (I thought, “This goddess is cool”). I’m posting this photo on this special day for this very special woman.

Sometimes a model just connects with the camera. You can’t make a bad photo even if you wanted to. Sometimes a model drives you to do your best work. She inspires you and creates a thousand stories with her presence. Sometimes a picture edits itself and needs very little work to happen. This is Carina.

I had a dream about her last night. She and I worked for the same company in a large mansion. I was doing IT work again and had a call to help her with some files. I think I was helping her create secure PDFs. We made plans to meet for lunch. During the day, we kept running into each other in the mansion. We’d stop and talk. I think we decided on sushi. Then I woke up. We never made it to lunch. We never had sushi. Damn!

That chaise lounge/couch/sofa thingy is going out the door. It was originated in a studio I used to rent. The owner wanted to get rid of it so I took it. I was planning on using it as a common prop with different models but never did. Now I’m clearing space to record a live band. I got a few responses on Craigslist but it looks like it’s going to the dump unfortunately.
