I\u2019ve noticed the low contrast in a number of \u201870s style pinup photos I like. I tried replicating that in my recent work. I\u2019m making more +1 and -2 adjustments instead of +10 or -8. I have to make the edit and wait for my eyes to adjust to see the change. It\u2019s a nice diversion from what I was previously producing. Sorting these photos also had a few challenges. Laura made a number of subtle facial expressions. Each different from the other and each with its own merit. It was a little difficult selecting the right one. That\u2019s a talent I look for in a model. The more facial expressions, the better. That\u2019s what makes the photo work.
