Sometimes the pinup goddess blesses you. I choose this photo to edit because of her face. Amanda’s face on a magazine literally stopped me in my tracks but that’s another story I’ve told before. I picked the red t-shirt because I like pinup shots with the model wearing one piece of clothing. I think that’s really sexy. When I was editing, I found the reds in the frame played nice with each other. The contrast between her hair, complexion, and tattoos also worked well. Overall, there’s very little color in the photo but the few colors present make everything work. Which brings me to my point: I didn’t plan any of this. I had Amanda in the studio and thought she’d look great in a red t-shirt on the stairs. We just went from there. Thanks to the pinup goddess for giving this unworthy photographer 1/250th of a second to capture something beautiful. Special thanks to Amanda for making my day (again). @samsanchezphoto
