This is actually part of a selfie taken at a school play. I’m cropped out on the right side. I made this as a “we were there” shot. Her expression really made the photo pop. A little time in Lightroom for tonal adjustments and a little time in Photoshop to get rid of some minor distractions in the background and the job is done. I could’ve spent more time eliminating or blurring the chairs and the woman in blue but I don’t believe that would’ve made the photo better. None of those things ruin the photo when you have a stunning model. @samsanchezphoto

I edited this in color to capture her skin tones. It looked good but it needed something more. Something to wake it up. Something to make it special. First, I kicked it into black and white. It looked good as a monochrome but now I was missing those gorgeous skin tones. Then I started playing with Vibrance and Grain. That was it. That was the special sauce. On another note, I’d love to work with her again but she’s off on a whole new adventure and isn’t in my vicinity too often. @samsanchezphoto
Sometimes a photo comes together very quickly. I was going through my normal editing routine in Lightroom when I accidentally jacked the Clarity. This made the bike and background pop. I used the Adjustment Brush to apply the effect to only the background. A few BC adjustments later and it was done. None of that really matters though. That’s just for the Lightroom/Photoshop nerds. The important part is Charlotte looks great on the motorcycle. I’m looking forward to working with her again. She’s that good. @samsanchezphoto

I felt like posting a black & white headshot. I was headed to my Alison files when I got side tracked by Madison. This took more work than I expected for a seemingly simple photo. I had to experiment in Lightroom with BC, HSWB, Dehaze, Black & White Mix, and Curves. Eventually it was a combination of BC and Curves. I know none of that matters. Madison just looks great. @samsanchezphoto
