Just a simple portrait. @samsanchezphoto

She’s nearly six foot in barefeet. Add the 5” heels and she becomes a skyscraper. I could barely fit her into my frame. She had a great sense of humor and was a lot of fun to work with. @samsanchezphoto

I realize the scrubs and stethoscope is a little cheesy but hey, what’s pinup without a little cheese? @samsanchezphoto

I’m doing office work again today and this is the result of my break. I took a different approach in Lightroom. Here are the steps: Treatment Black & White > Clarity > Dehaze > Black & white Mix > Tone Curve > Basic Tone > Effects. Usually I lead with Basic Tone. Changing the order makes a big difference in the final work. God bless digital! Now, where’s my Tele? @samsanchezphoto

One of the best models I’ve worked with. I met her on IG. This was a fun shoot. I don’t remember where I got the idea for the chain concept. I probably stole it from Helmut Newton or another one of my idols. I bought four 10’ lengths so it wouldn’t take forever to bind her. The chains are held in place with quick links. Lucy knew about the concept in advance and could refuse at anytime. During the shoot, I kept checking on her to make sure she was still comfortable with the concept. I always try to ensure the physical and emotional safety of the models. I’d rather lose the modeling fee than make a model uncomfortable just to make a shot. Lucy was fine. I’m hoping she’ll come back so I can “photograph” the hell out of her. @samsanchezphoto

This was a fun shoot. I know it seems I say that every time but really, I don’t . If I don’t mention that, it wasn’t. Some models are just hard to work with or disinterested in the project. I kinda wonder why they took the gig. I won’t say anything negative about a model. I’ll just keep it positive. Aria was one of the best. And if you’re wondering, the answer is yes: she’s a big Game of Thrones fan. @samsanchezphoto
