I follow a number of IG pages that features photos of ballerinas. The strength and grace shown by the dancers always amazes me. I thought, “I want to make photographs like that.” As fate would have it, Carina had ballet training. It’s so great to know such a versatile model. @samsanchezphoto
Guess who I literally ran into? No, why would you say that? It was Brawdie. We worked together a few years ago and made some great photos. We had a chance to catch up on things and get up to speed. I hit her up for a shoot and she said yes. Basically, we’ll play dress-up and shoot photos. Now I’m taking a more relaxed approach to my work instead of planning and shooting a concept. @samsanchezphoto

This is the Sweetheart of the Mountains 2017. She was in the Independence Day parade in Graeagle CA. I don’t know her name. Unfortunately, there was no SOTM for 2018. I waited in the hot sun for the best part of the parade and she never showed up. Rats! @samsanchezphoto
The pinup goddesses smiled on us that day. Everything came together beautifully to create this image. Theresa. The lighting. The wardrobe. This photo needed very little editing. I almost posted it directly from the camera. It looked better with just a wee bit of brightness and contrast “seasoning”. Regardless of all the boring technical details, it’s all Theresa. She knocked it our of the amphitheater again. @samsanchezphoto
