I entered this photo in the PDN Faces photo contest. It didn’t win. Damn! It matters not. I love the way this came out. Her hair created golden strands on her face. Sorting and selecting has to be the hardest part in photography. I have to find a photo that I want to release, represents my work, and is safe for IG. I had to make this one SFW. It was a simple tonal adjustment. I’d love to post my NSFW photos but I don’t want to blur out parts of the model. I think that radically changes the photo and the intent. In editing this photo, I wanted to reduce the number of colors in this photo to highlight Alison’s golden blond hair. @samsanchezphoto

Carina can totally rock that ’70s look I absolutely love. Add the shades and her killer smile and you have my dream model from 1975. I’m very happy with the way this came out and I’m very grateful to work with a muse like her. I emphasized the reflections to make the photo work. @samsanchezphoto
That smile melts me every time. It was such a privilege and honor to work with Ileana. She’s one of the best pinup models I’ve ever photographed. My aim in post-production was to bring our her beautiful skin tones. I’ve found skin tones, when done right, can be incredibly sexy. I think that’s why I have an affection for ’70s pinup photos. I just realized I was supposed to call her for another shoot last year. Whoops! I’ll get it on my calendar in January. @samsanchezphoto
One of the best models I’ve ever worked with. This took a little bit of effort in post to make. It would’ve been so easy to get seduced by her pretty face and just make brightness and contrast edits to show her off. The full color version was boring. So was the full monochrome version. I came up with something in-between. @samsanchezphoto
