There is something really sexy about a model in a pair of white mens briefs (at least, I think so). This is an ongoing theme I’ve used on different models I’ve worked with. Amber wore it well. @samsanchezphoto
GENUINE BEAUTIFUL
I think the expression and body language are essential to a good portrait. Carina was just sitting there when I asked her to freeze. I grabbed my camera and we made this photo. It’s got everything I like: my favorite model; a great expression; an unposed posture; and a 70’s vibe. I thought this photo worked best as a digital Tri-X (grainy monochrome). @samsanchezphoto
DINA IN THE DARK
This photo is part of a series of lighting experiments I did with Dina. I wish I had shot her a few more times but I got busy with client work at the time. She’s a great model and we had a great time working together. She said she had the same measurements as Betty Page. It would have been nice to do a retro shoot. @samsanchezphoto
SIDE VIEW
Lii Lii is one of the best models I’ve ever worked with. I booked her for a latex/shoe fetish shoot. She was fearless and we collaborated well. She brought a nice selection items including ballet boots, latex stockings, and ultra-high heels. After we shot her wardrobe, I asked her to wear my high heels (the pair in the picture)… that is, I own them and use them for shoots but I don’t personally “wear” them. Really. @samsanchezphoto
JEANS
Another of my on-going concepts. I always thought a model in a pair of large jeans (OK, they’re mine) would look pretty sexy. Theresa made it work. @samsanchezphoto
PT GEAR
As fate would have it, I still have some wardrobe items from my time in the U.S. Navy. Those shorts were mine. I actually fit them back in the early 80’s. On a side note, the 80’s were a bad time for shorts for men. They were way too short. At the time we knew no better but today I cringe when I see those old photos. Ick! The ball cap is from my ship. About the crop-top: it’s not mine. I think it may have belonged to my girlfriend but I have no idea where it came from and why I still have it. I put these items together and Carina was down for it. I really like working with Carina. She photographs really well and is a lot of fun to work with. @samsanchezphoto
